NSAI Solar PV System certification for Kellihers Electrical
Ireland’s first electrical distributor with NSAI approved Solar PV systems
Rexel Ireland branches of Kellihers Electrical and CT Electric have become the only electrical distributor in Ireland with NSAI approved certification for their Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems. Our branches are uniquely placed to supply complete Solar PV systems and components, plus all other electrical hardware – a one stop shop.
The ‘Kellihers Electrical Solar PV Systems‘ certification is a complete system certificate – covering everything from PV panels, roof mounting, weather-tightness, electrical isolation, inverters, fire safety etc. right through to commissioning and handover. It also covers both pitched roof and flat roof installations.
This certificate, coupled with the Rexel due diligence process, will give builders, engineers, electrical contractors, architects and specifiers, the confidence that they are recommending Solar PV systems that have been through an independent verification process and have a standardised installation method.
Rexel Energy Solutions is the specialist renewable energy division of Kellihers Electrical.
Rexel Energy Solutions Country Manager, Damien Phillips, commented on the publication of the certificate: ‘We are delighted to receive NSAI approval for our Solar PV systems. It is a further commitment to quality products and installer support from Rexel. We always take great care in selecting manufacturers and products for the Irish market, this certificate further reinforces that‘.

NSAI Agrément was formerly the Irish Agrément Board (IAB), it now operates as part of NSAI (National Standards Authority of Ireland). The Agrément Certificate is in accordance with the Irish Building Regulations and the rules of the European Union of Agrément Institutes for Construction (UEAtc). The NSAI is designated by the Irish Government to carry out European Technical Assessments. NSAI Agrément Certificates establish proof that the certified products are ‘proper materials’ suitable for their intended use under Irish site conditions, and in accordance with the Irish Building Regulations.
